Post Sandy Outreach Program

Post-Sandy Community Outreach Program

Post-Sandy Community Outreach Program

Over one year later, there are still Jewish individuals and families dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The impact is material, emotional, and spiritual. Resources and supports are ending, yet only now are some of us fully coming to terms with our losses.

Feelings can be strong: anger; frustration; disappointment with government agencies, with Jewish community institutions, even with God.

Thanks to a generous grant from UJA-Federation of New York, JBFCS has established a professional outreach team to work with Jewish community institutions in assisting you and your neighbors. Our goals include:

Connection

Recovery

Engagement

• Community Outreach – We come to you, wherever you are!

• Our services are free of charge, thanks to UJA-Federation of New York.

• We provide a wide range of services including emotional & spiritual counseling, support groups, advocacy, and referrals.
