The Manhattan Beis debut: Is there room for the Jewish Religion in a Jewish State?
Join Roots-NY to launch the Manhattan Beis, a monthly parlor event that fuses Jewish ideas, art, and thought-provoking discussion after hours. The Manhattan Beis will be a major Jewish learning and charitable event that will benefit a different charity every month. On the heels of Yom Ha’atzmaut, the first Manhattan Beis deals with the role of Jewish religion in the Jewish state. It is hosted as an interactive series of roundtable discussions between participants and presenters. The main event is followed by dinner and mingling. Distinguished guests include Shahar Azani, Consul for Media Affairs at the Consulate General of Israel in New York and Amir Telem, former Director of Special Operations for the IDF.
The event will be held on May 7th at the Brownstone: 224 East 12th Street
